Bill to Expand Direct Primary Care Passes House, March 5, 2024 The bipartisan legislation contains a provision that would allow Direct Primary Care (DPC) arrangements to be compatible with Health Savings Accounts (HSAs). Patients, employees, unions etc... will be able to pay for our direct care telehealth out of their HSA's thereby avoiding out-of-pocket fees as with HDHP'S. This is a common-sense solution that will benefit millions of Americans. How algorithms are being used to deny health insurance claims in bulk Federal data shows that health insurance companies denied more than 49 million claims in 2021, but customers appealed less than 0.2 percent of them.
